Once more, a dear friend has offered a doll to help us raise funds for a place for Peter. My friend found this doll on the secondary market after years of searching for her. She is in pristine condition, mint in box.

Her name is ‘Cissie’. Created in 1995, she is #49 of a sixty piece edition. ‘Cissie’ is 11” tall, all porcelain and jointed at the neck, shoulders, elbows, hips and knees. She is china painted (her face paint was fired on) with a little extra embellishment added by me (just now). Her wig is blonde human hair, styled in a long bob. ‘Cissie’s’ outfit consists of pink wool ‘harem’ style trousers with a pink & green flowered cotton waistband (you may recognize the fabric from one of our first vinyl dolls - ‘Kelsey’), a delicately patterned ecru wool sweater (designed and knit by sister Anne) and a beret made of pink wool with an ecru knit band and a cotton flowered bow that matched the waistband.

Extra little details include ecru mesh tights, pink leather shoes tied with silk ribbons and a tiny pipe cleaner bear with a sculpted face mask.
